Pickup service for arriving students

For incoming students we offer a pickup service. The service is only for students who will be studying at the TU Graz (Technical University Graz). We organise someone who will welcome you at the train station, airport, or any other meeting point in Graz.
This is especially for those who are forced to arrive outside office hours and would not be able to get the key for their accommodation otherwise. Also everyone who is unsure about how to get to their accommodation can request this service. Please try to arrive within office hours which is much easier for everyone!

Normally we will try to organise one of your mentors to pick you up (if you do not know what a mentor is or how to get one read more about the mentor system here). We encourage everyone to take part as you can have a lot of fun and also get help easily.

When making the pickup request try to be as precise as possible and fill out everything! In case that we should get the key before don't forget to include the contact information of the person which has the key in Graz. You also should try to inform the person that someone else will pick up the key for you. Also note that if you have to pay deposit and how much (don't forget to bring it with you in cash when you arrive!) You should also note if you are arriving together with someone else -> But everyone still has to fill out a pickup request. So if three persons are travelling together all three must fill out the form!

ATTENTION: We can not guarantee that we are able to fulfil your request but we promise to do our best. To make it easier we ask you to enter the pickup request at least 8 days before you arrive! Then we are normally always able to fulfil your request. (Everyone of us is working for this in his free time so a 24/7 service is not possible ;-).

How you can request the pickup service:

• First you must create an account on this website.
  It is fairly easy but take in account that it can take up to 48h till your account is activated so create it right away.
• Then you can request the service if you follow this link:MAKE A PICKUP REQUEST (You need to login first!)
• It is necessary to join a MENTOR GROUP to be picked up!!!
  
• If something changes in your travel arrangement you can edit the request:

• What happens after you made your request: We will send you a confirmation email as soon as we've found a person who will pick you up. We try to send this email at least 3 days before you arrive. If you don't get a confirmation 3 days before your arrival in Graz please contact us by email (international@htu.tugraz.at or use the contact form).

Attention: By making a pickup request you agree that the person who will pick you up gets all the information to do so! Also our staff coordinating the service can read the entered data. The data will not be given to anyone else.
