Welcome Party 6.10.2006

On Friday 6.10.2006 the long awaited Welcome Party takes place. It is only for our members (everyone with ESN Card) and some invited guests. Everyone needs an invitation (if you are interessted why you can read about it at the end of the article).

The party starts at 21:00. The location is the "Stern". You find it here. (Way description: Go up the Sporgasse from Hauptplatz till the end. It is the last building on the right side. The party lasts about 4:00.

Our staff members will run the two bars (beer only at the main bar) and DJ Creeso will take care of the music. As we don't have so much budget to give out drinks for free everyone has to pay for what she consumes, sorry ;-). There will be not so many different drinks but we should have something for everyone and it will be rather cheap.

Invitations: Everyone with an ESN Card gets them for free. Other guests can ask for one in the office hours on Friday.

Tuesday 3.10.2006 from 18:30 - 20:00 at the KF office (Schuberstr. 6a, ÖH building, first floor)

Some notes for the party:

When you get a drink you have to pay a deposit for the cup. You get the deposit back when you return the cup.

For the smokers: As we can not open the windows after 22:00 anymore please be so kind to not smoke so much inside. PLEASE use the provided ash trays! Don't throw cigarettes on the floor as it is made of wood!

Please don't bring your own drinks. We give out the drinks as cheap as possible (but we have to pay the rent for the rooms and so on so you should drink a lot ;-). It is planed to do an international dinner where you can bring the special drinks of your country along with the food later in this semester.

Why this complicated buisness with the invitations?

The party is a private party for our members only. There are severall reasons why we can not make a public party (mainly because of laws). The law requires us to invite everyone personally else it doesn't count as a private party. That's the reason why you have to get the invitations. Sorry for that but so we can have a nice party with cheaper prices than in any pub.
